"Supported By Federal Grant Research"
Non-Surgical Treatment for: Sciatica, Herniated Disc, Degenerated Disc, Low Back
Pain.
Technique for repair of herniated,
ruptured or bulging discs. Successful at preventing unwanted surgery as well as patients with failed back surgery and lumbar
facet syndrome.
Goals of the flexion-decompression treatment include transfer
of metabolites into the spinal disc, decreasing intradiscal pressures and decompressing inflamed/compressed spinal nerve roots.
Three government-funded grants totaling over $2 million dollars have been awarded for the study of this technique.

Scientific Findings Regarding Disc Decompression
1. The disc space increases in height relieving irritation of the spinal
nerve. 2. Decreases disc protrusion and reduces stenosis. 3. Tensions the ligaments to reduce stenosis. 4.
Opens the vertebral canal by 2 mm. (16%). 5. Increases metabolite transport into the disc. 6. Opens the posterior facet
joints and reduces posterior disc stress. 7. Intradiscal pressure drops under distraction. 8. Intervertebral foraminal
openings enlarge giving patency to the nerve.
